ABOUT THE CONCERTS

The Temple Sanctuary is a world class performance space. As you sit beneath a 195 foot nautilus inspired spiral ceiling, you will feel the music soar in this unique acoustic environment.. We are hosting artists like Peter Mayer and Joel Ansett, gifted folk musicians who write and perform songs that evoke inspiration and peace. There is no ticket fee for the concerts, but we do suggest a $20 donation. Cost shouldn’t be a barrier to participation. • JOEL ANSETT

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 9 AT 7 PM

Joel Ansett is an American singer-songwriter known for his introspective lyrics and heartfelt live performances. His sound combines folk and R&B, and beyond the genre, Artist Review wrote: "this music is soul therapy." He represents a new era of independent artists, empowering listeners to act as the record label and the primary promotional engine for each new release. This steady grassroots approach continues to gain momentum for Ansett, thus far earning him over 30 million streams online, a Lennon Award, songs placed with Marvel and Netflix, and the title of “songwriter to watch” from The Huffington Post. His newest album “Layers” provides an immersive listening experience about unseen relational barriers with strangers, loved ones, and God. Listen to Joel's Music.

  • THE HUIXQUI SISTERS

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 6 AT 7 PM
    A HOLIDAY CONCERT

The Huixqui Sisters - pronounced like "whiskey" - are a vocal duet accompanied by guitar and keys. They create custom arrangements of their favorite songs, with a vocal blend only achieved by sisters and vocal precision. Professional training allows Rachel and Libby to easily adapt to a variety of musical genres including pop, folk, latino, jazz, and oldies.

Originally from the small town of Huixquilucan (whikey-loo-kahn), Mexico, their hometown inspires identity and artistic passions. From the artist: It is in honor of this beautiful village, nestled in the mountains outside of Mexico City, that we named ourselves and hope to share some of its beauty with you.
